We are looking at setting up a 1 ton capacity pilot plant with a semi-automatic process. This pilot plant will enable the progression of MIW’s upcycling technology to a point of commercial readiness, as well as acting as a meeting point for label packaging stakeholders to work together to close the loop.
In the near future, we are aiming to scale up via using existing assets to have a commercial facility of at least 100 tons capacity. Thereafter the technology will be licensed out and/or produced in own facilities on a global scale.
The initiative was driven by experienced packaging material experts and researchers from Malaysian Public Universities.
Paper liner and Polyester (PET) based materials. We focus on post industrial waste from the packaging industry that are currently disposed of by landfill method. Our modular design enables the “hard-to-recycle” waste materials to be recyclable in conventional recycling processes.
We partner with organizations to bring forward green upcycling programs to their clients based on our industrial know-how in the region. Our proven model ensures that all stakeholders in the ecosystem receive quality waste management service and solution products, most importantly helping them to achieve sustainability goals.
